Spiders in homes can go from being a slight disturbance here and there to taking over the entire house in Raleigh, NC. They might pose a risk of infecting the inhabitants through their bites or their eggs getting into food and house hold items. There are easy home remedies and treatments to get rid of these creepy things and show them who is boss.
Cleaning
One of the home remedies to get rid of these creepy visitors is to do it the old school way with a some gloves and a broom, well maybe not necessarily a broom. The idea is to clean the house, get rid of their webs and eggs at every corner of the house they may have made a home, on the bright side when you are done you end up with a clean spider free home. Using The Right Oils
Peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil, lavender oil are all spider repellents and can be used as a home remedy for spiders around the home, simply sprinkle a few drops of any of these oils at strategic places to keep spiders away from making a home in these places. Alternatively, the oils can be mixed with vinegar and used as a spray.
Cooking Spices
Some kitchen spices are known insect and spider repellents. For example turmeric, garlic, black pepper, salt and so on. Using them as a home remedy involves sprinkling them around spider-infested areas, and spraying around webs and on their eggs. Many times using the right spider repellent and keeping the house clean, and avoid stacking old things are effective home remedies to getting rid of spiders.
